| Comments: | Questions were read too quickly (8 questions in a row per round with no time to discuss in between). At the end of each round one player per team could come up and answer a bonus, which made the whole experience seem too rushed. The questions were interesting, but there were a lot of yes/no questions that weren't exciting.
The music round was TV show themes from the 1970s and turned out to be very hard for the crowd. On top of that, there was no music throughout the game and the silence in the room felt awkward at times. Prizes for the bonuses were a string of beads, which was lame. The host seemed nice enough, but could have used more enthusiasm. Service from the venue was also lacking -- there was one bartender in the upstairs room where trivia took place and no food or drink service unless you walked up to the bar. On the plus side, there was a really creative sports trophies picture round and prizes for the winners included food from the restaurant downstairs. |
