| Comments: | Ever since I started attending TriviaTryst on Thursdays, Bar None has started to grow on me. But the slight sensation of douchery I got from this bar during my college years at NYU still linger in the back of my head, and I'm inclined to think that bartenders want to make good tips--not ignore you when you raise a hand and smile DIRECTLY at them. I'm sorry I don't have cleavage, I guess?
There are certainly far worse; trivia night is cool, it maintains a laid-back divey atmosphere as long as you don't try and sniff out the douchebags and working girls (swear to god, the one we saw wasn't hiding that fact at all) and it certainly has more than enough TV's to spare. But the breathing room and ample seating of Nevada Smith's--even when that place is relatively packed--is much more desirable.
